1. Seller

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made on the Polyos website between the seller and the customer.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Sale.

2. Products

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products and show them accurately. Product colors and appearance may differ slightly depending on your screen. Our mugs and cups are ceramic and stoneware, and slight variations in color, glaze, texture, and size are normal and make each piece unique.

Products are offered while stocks last. We may correct errors and update availability without prior notice.

3. Prices

All prices are displayed in British pounds (GBP) and include VAT. Delivery to the United Kingdom is free. The total amount you pay is shown before you confirm your order.

We may change our prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one shown at the time you place it.

4. Placing an order

To place an order, select your products, go through checkout, and confirm payment. After your order is submitted, you receive a confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted.

An order is accepted when we confirm its processing or shipment. We may cancel an order when a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error occurs, payment cannot be verified, or fraudulent activity is suspected. If we cancel an order after payment, the amount paid is refunded to the original payment method.

5. Payment

Payment is made at checkout by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through Stripe. Payment is taken when you place your order. Your payment details are transmitted in encrypted form, and we do not store your banking details.

6. Delivery

We ship to customers in the United Kingdom via DHL. Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery takes 2 to 4 business days after shipping, for a total of 3 to 6 business days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Please check your delivery address carefully before ordering. Customs duties, import taxes, or similar government charges, where they apply, are separate from our free shipping and may be the responsibility of the customer where permitted by law.

Risk in the goods passes to you when you or a person you nominate takes possession of them. If a package arrives visibly damaged, please take photos and contact us as soon as possible.

7. Right to cancel (14 days)

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. To do so, contact us at contact@polyos.shop. We provide a free prepaid return label and refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the original payment method. We may hold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided proof of postage.

You may unpack and inspect the goods as you would in a shop. You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

8. 30-day free returns

In addition to your statutory rights, you may return eligible products within 30 days of delivery, whatever the reason. Return shipping is free and we provide a prepaid label. Conditions and the return process are set out in our Refund Policy. We do not offer direct exchanges. Return the product and place a new order.

9. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof that you have sent them back, if earlier). The time for the credit to appear may also depend on your bank. No restocking fee is charged.

10. Warranty and faulty goods

All items are covered by a 2-year warranty. If a product is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us with your order number and, if possible, photos. We provide a free return label and cover all costs of the return and replacement. You also keep your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery and the right to repair, replacement, or a price reduction.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, and to your statutory rights, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

13. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@polyos.shop and we will do our best to resolve it quickly. You may also use an alternative dispute resolution service where available to you.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you in your country of residence. If you live in the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
